Campaigning
The role of Hospices and how they are funded are both important political issues. As a result Hartlepool and District Hospice takes every opportunity to meet with politicians and other key decision makers to influence policy in these areas and make sure the views of our patients, their families, carers, supporters, volunteers and staff are heard.
We believe the people who use and staff our services are the real experts
With your help we can demonstrate how passionate people are about local Hospice care and campaign for better and more equitable Hospice care for all. From time to time we plan to run campaigns that lobby decision makers around issues related to Hospice care and we might call on you to sign petitions online, at our shops or at events.
