Hospice Make a Will Month Success

This year saw 'Where there's a Will there's a Way' take place in May; a campaign which urges people to take the opportunity to make or update their Wills to ensure their family are properly cared for once they are gone.

Solicitors across the town, including Tilly Bailey & Irvine and Smith & Graham, donated a fee to Hartlepool & District Hospice for each Will written or updated.

It is anticipated that this year the campaign will generate almost £1800 and a final amount will be announced in the coming weeks once all the funds have been collected.

The Hospice's own Legacy Co-ordinator took part this year along with numerous other Hospice staff members.

Rebecca said, "It is a great weight of my mind to know that I have sorted out what will happen to our home and children should anything happen to me or my Husband.  It is one of those jobs we have both been putting off and I feel much happier now that it is done!"
