Thank you for considering fundraising for Hartlepool and District Hospice. As a small charity that receives just 34% of its funding from the Government, we must raise £4,877 each and every day to maintain our services. It is no exaggeration then to say that your support for our patients, their families and carers is vital.

With this in mind we want to make it as fun and simple as possible for people to fundraise. We know that if you follow a series of steps you will be well on your way to success. Our Purple Pack is full of ideas and tips to make your fundraising successful whilst also making sure everyone involved is safe and within the law. It includes steps to success, ideas for fundraising, event planning tips and advice on how to handle money.

Once you have reached this stage, please keep us updated, as there are all sorts of ways that we can support your efforts, including offering practical support and help with publicising your event. Our team is always delighted to meet with our supporters to discuss their plans.

Not only are there a variety of opportunities organised by the Hospice but we can also help you organise you own sponsored walk, hop or jump. In the past supporters have organised events such as a sponsored stop smoking, body wax and even silence.
