Through investment and personal involvement, members play a vital role in developing the comprehensive range of care and support services the Hospice offers people affected by life limiting illness or the death of a loved one.
Established in response to need
The Guild was established in response to the findings of several national reports which highlighted that people in the Hospice’s catchment area of Hartlepool and east Durham had some of the greatest need for specialist palliative care in the country.
