As a warm up to this year's summer games, we are launching the Hospice's first ever It's a Knockout competition which will be held at Hartlepool Old Boys R.F.C.
This is the live action version of the classic TV game show and the Hospice are looking for teams of 10 from local businesses or groups to take part. Teams can be mixed and entrants must be over the age of 18 and in good health. The games will start around 10am, subject to numbers, and will run throughout the day. Teams will be notified of all arrangements and timings prior to the event.
The games will be co-ordinated by Graham Fisher's International It's A Knockout who have been running these events for the last 25 years, after starting our as a touring attraction with ex-BBC props in 1987. Much has changed since then, with the development of new ideas and equipment, whilst the fun of the competition remains as popular as ever.
You can enter as many teams as you wish, but places are limited, so early booking is advisable.
Entry is £10 per team member and there is a sponsorship target of £50 per team member. As well as going head to head with the other teams in the games, why not embrace the competitive spirit of the event and see which team member can raise the most money?
