Name: Francis McAllister
Title: Director of Fundraising
Where do you live Harrogate
Describe your role: The Hospice is part of the fabric of the communities of Hartlepool and east Durham and in order to maintain and develop our services we need to raise £46,000 a week.
This would not be possible without a dedicated fundraising team or the amazing support of local people, companies, Trusts and foundations.
The Hospice was the vision of Alice Bendle, our founder, and now provides essential Specialist Palliative Care services for people with life limiting illnesses.
Local people who buy our lottery tickets, attend our events, give generous donations or visit our charity shops all help to keep this vision alive.
Working for the Hospice and supporting our clinical teams delivering these services is a privilege.
