Who's who at the Hospice
The Board of Trustees
Hartlepool and District Hospice is governed by a board of 11 trustees. The individuals in this group, who come from all walks of life, are responsible for ensuring the organisation fulfils its mission, as set out in the Hospice philosophy.
The Senior Management Team
The trustees delegate the day-to-day running of the Hospice to the Chief Executive, Tracy Woodall and her Senior Management Team. This small group of experts make sure the Hospice’s diverse range of services and the excellent standards are maintained and developed in line with the organisation's strategy. They also make sure the charity has the staff and funding to provide the vital care and support on offer.
Staff and Volunteers
The Senior Management Team is supported by over 250 volunteers and just over 50 full and part time staff who all work together to provide the care people need. This team places high value on the principles of choice, empowerment and respect.
